Teeny Tiny French Bread Pizzas!! - Easy, Quick, Super Bowl Food

While most of you are in new years resolutions/post-holiday detoxing mode, some of you may be thinking ahead to Super Bowl planning.  Yes, the Super Bowl is less than a month away (Feb 2nd)!  So here’s a cute and quick football recipe that is a guaranteed success.  Because let’s be for real, who doesn’t like pizza??

The trick to making these is buying deli-style hot dog buns from your grocery store, they will be in the bakery.  As you can see in the pictures below they look like tiny baguettes.  After that, the pizza world is your oyster, top with whatever sauces and toppings you’d like!  Even oysters I guess?  BBQ sauce and pineapple for me please.

Aside from football hosting, these are also great for tiny hands, weeknight dinners (serve with these), or just a quick, cheesy snack.  And don’t forget the football cookies!

TIP: No Parsley, No Problem! Chop up any greens you have and sprinkle them on top and no one will know the difference!

TIP: No Parsley, No Problem! I don’t always have fresh parsley on hand but I do love the way it adds color and freshness to meals. Chop up any greens you have and sprinkle them on top and no one will know the difference!

I grow parsley in the summer and in the cold months I’m too cheap to drop the $1 on fresh parsley at the store so I started doing this and it really adds that special wabam! :)

These would be awesome w a big bowl of tomato bisque,
especially on a cold, windy night.
    YUM!
